We met Anna and Joe at the Art Institute for their engagement photos almost exactly one year out from their wedding day! Currently living in Pittsburgh, Anna and Joe are planning an intimate Chicago wedding at the Emil Bach House next fall. Even though they already had some engagement photos done, they joined us to hit a few iconic Chicago spots while they were in town! We loved spending the afternoon catching up on wedding plans and getting to know Anna and Joe!
Joe proposed to Anna in Japan, getting down on one knee in front of an epic view of Mount Fuji that may or may not have been obstructed by clouds. Either way, Anna said yes and we can't wait to see them say "I do" in front of their close family and friends next fall!
As we've gotten to know more about Anna and Joe, we love their focus on the things that really matter. From planning a smaller wedding to looking forward to images of real moments on their wedding day, Anna and Joe are prioritizing being present and enjoying the process.
