We first met Megan and Nick last year while photographing Megan's brother's wedding. When we walk into a getting ready room on any wedding day, the room is full of family, of close friends, and in the case of Megan's sister-to-be...a 100% team bride atmosphere. Megan and her family were Kaitlin's biggest fans that day. So when we got on a Zoom call with Megan and Nick to talk more about their own wedding, we were already SO excited to work with two people whose hearts for the people they love are as obvious as the fun they bring to the room.
After making the move recently from Chicago to the suburbs, having engagement photos along the Chicago Riverwalk seemed like the perfect way to celebrate the early years of their relationship. One of the first warm days of spring, the Riverwalk was bubbling with people breathing in the river breeze and strolling hand in hand. Megan and Nick, after walking with you we felt like old friends.
