We photographed Ashley and Eric’s wedding and anniversary session, and this fall we met them to take some maternity photos!
We talked all about this season of waiting, and what they were most looking forward to, about pregnancy during a pandemic, and about making the most of this time. We can’t wait to see them become parents this winter!
As we stood on the walking path next to the small lake, Ashley and Eric looked at each other—both of their hands close to baby Slager—and my eyes welled up with tears. The journey from friends to marriage to parents may not always be easy, but in those moments by the lake, it was all about hope and about the love they have for each other and their new baby to come.
