There’s nothing like a sunset in the mountains. Rokki and Michael’s session was one of my all time favorites. They trusted us to capture a sophisticated date night vibe for some summer mountain engagement photos.
Imagine this…going for a drive up a winding mountain road on a warm summer night with the love of your life, watching the sun go down together with stunning views, taking a deep breath together, your head on their shoulder. It doesn’t get much better than this.
We photographed Rokki and Michael in a 1957 Porsche Speedster on the road up to Bogus Basin. We met at the bottom before following them up to a pull off with amazing views, the air getting cool and crisp as we drove higher and higher. A beautiful sunset sky with a distant view of Boise in one direction and the foothills in the other was the backdrop for their intimate session. We love how their photos show their effortless presence together.
