Kelsey and Brett met through an app and through mutual friends—a telltale sign they were meant to be! They love city life and love golfing together. They even got engaged on the 18th hole at Pinehurst in North Carolina, their family and friends waiting to celebrate and cheer them on! They’re planning a West Loop Wedding next year and we couldn’t be more excited!
We wandered the pillars of Union Station and explored a few spots in the neighborhood before heading over the the Museum Campus, just as the rain paused. The fall air was cool and the lake calm. The Chicago skyline resting behind them, Kelsey and Brett were perfect together. While we didn’t attempt any dirty dancing lifts, we loved how comfortable she was in his arms.
Kelsey and Brett, thanks for braving the rain and trusting us to capture this sweet time of anticipation and preparation. We cannot wait to celebrate with you next fall! Hugs, Becky & Kaleb.
Wedding photography is my heartbeat. For me, it holds the perfect tension between creativity and authenticity, observation and connection. In front of my camera clients transform to friends, and behind it you'll usually find me tearing up, cheering you on, or holding my breath because of the raw goodness of the moment at hand.
