Arlington Heights locals, Kristen and Phil picked the perfect spot for their engagement photos! We strolled through the downtown area, the sun setting slowly behind the rows of restaurants and apartment buildings. Kristen and Phil gave us the inside scoop into the best Mexican restaurants, and shared all the updates on wedding planning!
There were so many moments during their session where I hardly said a word, because watching them together was the real deal. While almost no one feels comfortable in front of the camera right away, Kristen and Phil had the easiest time making each other laugh. Seeing how much fun they have together made us even more excited for their wedding day!
Kristen and Phil, thanks for braving the chilly evening as the sun set, for inviting us into your favorite spots for drinks even though Covid held us back, for sharing the parts of Downtown Arlington Heights you love, for telling us the stories of how you met, and for spending your Saturday night in front of the camera. We can't wait for your wedding this fall! Hugs, Becky & Kaleb.
Wedding photography is my heartbeat. For me, it holds the perfect tension between creativity and authenticity, observation and connection. In front of my camera clients transform to friends, and behind it you'll usually find me tearing up, cheering you on, or holding my breath because of the raw goodness of the moment at hand.
