We drove up to Deer Flat Ranch, a beautiful wedding venue in Nampa, Idaho, for Sydney and Rok’s wedding as a light rain fell. Andrea from Major Events was arranging a stunning head table with dusty blue and cream florals while Sound Wave Events was setting up to party with Sydney and Rok’s family and friends.
Sydney’s mom and sister helped her get ready in the bridal suite at Deer Flat Ranch. We love watching families come together on wedding days, and seeing Sydney’s mom and Rok’s mom stand side by side tearing up as Sydney put the finishing touches on her bridal look was the first of many emotional family moments on their beautiful wedding day.
The rain let up just as Sydney and Rok spent a few moments together under the overhang of the Japanese inspired event space at Deer Flat Ranch. They were married outside, their guests facing the altar and a stunning view of Lake Lowell in the distance.
After a delicious taco bar by Horsewood Catering, we had so much fun watching Sydney and Rok talk to and celebrate with their wedding guests. One of my favorite moments of their wedding reception was when they invited all the fathers and daughters present to join Sydney and her dad during their special dance, and then the mothers and sons to join Rok and his mom as they finished dancing together. It was so special to see the joyful relationships of so many of their guests and loved ones on the dance floor together!
Sydney and Rok closed out the night with margaritas and a dance floor full of the people they love most.
