Like others during wedding planning, Kelsey and Braden have had to flex their adaptability muscles quite a bit. When we met with them on Zoom earlier this year, they told us all about their Michigan wedding plans, and we couldn't wait to jump in with them! For Kelsey & Braden, this was engagement session #2, and we loved the way they were in front of the camera together!
As we've gotten to know them as a couple, we've seen over and over the steady support they give one another. Dating and planning a wedding long distance, finishing school, and driving to see each other on the weekends, their commitment and support for each other's dreams is inspiring. What I love most about their images is the way they feel like stopped moments in time.
Braden and Kelsey, we hope when you look back on these images in years to come, that you remember the way it felt to finally hug each other after weeks apart, the way it felt to anticipate your life together, and how much you love each other. We're so excited to celebrate you two this summer! Hugs, Becky & Kaleb.
Wedding photography is my heartbeat. For me, it holds the perfect tension between creativity and authenticity, observation and connection. In front of my camera clients transform to friends, and behind it you'll usually find me tearing up, cheering you on, or holding my breath because of the raw goodness of the moment at hand.
