When it comes to displaying your wedding photos, there are lots of ways to show them off and incorporate them into your life. We highly recommend printing and hanging your wedding images in your home, and two of the most popular print options are framed prints and canvases. Here are some things to consider about each:
Canvases are more tactile. With a textured finish, a canvas has visual texture.
Most canvases are glare-free! With no frame and no glass, a canvas might be easier to see from certain areas of a room.
When you hang a canvas, there’s no broken glass if it falls off the wall! That being said, you can also secure a framed print well enough to avoid this.
You can often purchase a canvas print for less money than a quality framed print. In the world of printing and framing, prices will range based on the quality of the products, but you can generally find a canvas for cheaper than a framed print.
Framed prints show off a higher resolution in your images, and include much more sharp detail because of their smooth texture.
Framed prints have an aesthetic quality that is artful and elegant. The style of the framed print has withstood generations of “fads."
Professionally framed prints age better because they’re protected by glass and sealed in frame. They are not only beautiful, but also protect and preserve the photographs inside when they are professionally framed.
When you order framed prints, the mattes and frames are art-gallery quality and 100% worth the investment!
Now that we’ve shared a fair assessment of both options, here's our preference. When given the option, we will always choose a framed print. We are mesmerized by the print quality, professionalism, and aesthetic of a framed print. We love the way an important moment is cherished as art, surrounded by a beautiful matte and frame. We think framed prints show our work and your memories in the sweetest form.
Regardless of whether you choose a canvas, framed print, or something else, the important part is getting your photographs on your walls!

Wedding photography is my heartbeat. For me, it holds the perfect tension between creativity and authenticity, observation and connection. In front of my camera clients transform to friends, and behind it you'll usually find me tearing up, cheering you on, or holding my breath because of the raw goodness of the moment at hand.
